POSITION: RESTAURANT HOST/CASHIER/BUSSER - LOCATION: DAYTON - VARIED SHIFTS

Gold Ranch Casino in Dayton is looking for the perfect upbeat, friendly candidate to become a part of the Truckee Gaming family. The position is a  busser/host/cashier (varied shift) to assist the server's by clearing and setting tables, taking and delivering beverages to guests, seating guests, cash handling, and any other tasks that allow the server's to give our guests excellent service in a timely manner
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned).
  • Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Seat guests in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Take to go orders.
  • Handle all cash/credit card transactions.
  • Thank all guests as they are leaving.
  • Ensure tables are clean and set up for guests.
  • Clear empty dishes from the tables as needed. 
  • Clear and wipe down tables when guests leave the restaurant.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 1 year prior restaurant experience preferred.
Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English language.

  • Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of appropriate tables settings and service ware.
  • Must possess good communication skills.
And:
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Able to project a positive attitude and professionalism at all times.
  • Must be able to learn and understand menu items and beverages.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to exert well-paced mobility to maneuver throughout the restaurant.
  • Must be able to exert well-paced mobility in limited spaces.
  • Reaching, bending, stretching, lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a casino environment
  • Requires manual dexterity to perform job correctly.
